Welcome to FineTea. We are committed to delivering the finest Chinese tea and tea culture to tea lovers worldwide. Please read our shipping guidelines below to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

1. Processing Time


  • Regular Orders: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24-48 hours (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
  • Peak Seasons: During high-demand periods (e.g., Spring Tea Harvest, holidays), processing may take 3-5 business days. We appreciate your patience.
  • Pre-orders: For pre-sale items, please refer to the specific shipping date mentioned on the product page.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Time

We offer various shipping methods based on your location:

  • Domestic (Mainland China):

    • Free Shipping on orders over ¥[Amount].
    • Estimated delivery: 2-4 business days.
  • International Shipping:

    • Standard Shipping: 15-25 business days.
    • Express Shipping (FedEx/DHL/UPS): 5-10 business days.
    • Note: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the package and the destination country.

3. Packaging & Quality Control

Tea is sensitive to moisture and odors. To preserve its original aroma and flavor:

  • Vacuum & Sealed: All teas are packed in multi-layered, moisture-proof, and light-shielded bags.
  • Fragile Items: Teaware (ceramics/glass) is wrapped in reinforced bubble wrap and shipped in thickened, shock-resistant boxes.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders, please be aware that:

  • Import Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, or customs fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in our shipping costs.
  • Customs Clearance: While we provide all necessary documentation (Commercial Invoices/Packing Lists), delays caused by local customs authorities are beyond our control.
  • Compliance: Please ensure that your country allows the importation of tea products. FineTea is not responsible for items seized or destroyed by local customs due to local regulations.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing a Tracking Number. You can track your package directly through our website under the "My Account" section or on the carrier’s official website.

6. Damaged or Lost Packages


  • Damaged on Arrival: If your package arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and items and contact us at support@finetea.com.cn within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows "Delivered" but you have not received it, please contact your local post office or the courier service first before reaching out to our support team.

7. Address Changes

We can only modify your shipping address before the package is dispatched. Once the order is in "Shipped" status, we cannot redirect it. Any additional costs for re-routing will be the customer’s responsibility.

Refund & Return Policy
At FineTea, your satisfaction is our top priority. Since tea is a food product, we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds to ensure health and safety standards.
1. Returns for Tea Products
  • Safety & Hygiene: To ensure food safety, we do not accept returns for tea products once the original sealed packaging has been opened, unless the product is defective or incorrect.
  • Non-Quality Issues: We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on personal taste preferences (e.g., "I don't like this flavor"). We recommend purchasing our Sample Packs before committing to larger quantities.
2. Returns for Teaware (Non-Food Items)
  • You may return unused teaware (cups, pots, trays) in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it—unwashed, unused, and without any damage.
  • Shipping Costs: For non-quality related returns (e.g., "changed my mind"), the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees and any original shipping costs are non-refundable.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged during transit, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right:
  • Reporting: Contact us at support@finetea.com.cn within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Evidence: Please provide your order number and clear photos or videos of the damaged item and its packaging.
  • Solution: We will provide a replacement or a full/partial refund at no additional cost to you.
4. International Orders (Cross-Border)
  • Final Sale: Due to high shipping costs and customs complexities, all international orders are considered Final Sale unless there is a quality issue or shipping damage.
  • Refused Shipments: If a package is returned to us because it was refused (e.g., unpaid customs duties or incorrect address provided by the customer), the return shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
5. Refund Process
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the transaction.
6. Order Cancellations
  • You can cancel your order for a full refund within 12 hours of purchase, provided the order has not been dispatched.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
